Will A Valid Divorce In One State Be Valid In Other States?

Yes. Each state must recognize the final divorce decree issued from another state. The U.S. Full Faith and Credit clause of the Constitution requires each state to honor the public orders, acts and records of all other state judicial proceedings. There are exceptions to the rule such as same sex marriages. Not all states are willing to follow other state laws when it specifically violates their own statute. This issue is being heavily litigated at the appellate and supreme court levels.
